SENTiNEL is based in British Columbia and inspects buildings in the climate that built the team's experience. In-person oversight runs across Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley; documentation review and presentations are available province-wide.
Regions we cover.
Greater Vancouver
Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, North and West Vancouver, and New Westminster. High-rise and mid-rise concrete, wood-frame mid-rise, and dense townhome sites.
Tri-Cities and Ridge Meadows
Coquitlam, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, and Maple Ridge. Mixed-age wood-frame stock with sloped-site drainage considerations.
Fraser Valley
Surrey, Delta, Langley, Abbotsford, Mission, and Chilliwack. Large townhome complexes, newer wood-frame buildings, and significant site drainage exposure.
Elsewhere in British Columbia
Remote review of documentation, reports, and meeting presentations province-wide. In-person attendance outside the Lower Mainland is arranged case by case.

Coastal rainfall
Sustained wet seasons load every envelope detail, sealant joint, and drainage path far harder than a dry-climate equivalent of the same age.
Freeze and thaw
Elevation and inland valleys add freeze cycling, which accelerates cracking in concrete, membranes, and sealants.
Wind-driven rain
Exposure orientation matters. Two identical assemblies on the same building can age a decade apart based on which way they face.
Wildfire smoke season
Ventilation intakes, filtration, and mechanical maintenance carry summer implications that did not exist in older maintenance thinking.
